10 a.m. — Reno Event Center doors opens
10:10 a.m. — Veterans officially “Welcomed Home” and thanked for their service. They, and the public are invited to avail themselves of services and outreach opportunities provided by veteran service organizations in Northern Nevada. Also available are static displays of Vietnam era equipment, a Vietnam mobile museum and music from the era with US Navy Veteran and DJ, Mr. Shane Whitecloud.
11 a.m. — Official Ceremony Opens: SFC Fred Wagar, US Army Ret., Nevada Dept. of Veterans Services. Arrival of Ceremonial Wreath brought by the State Patriot Guard Riders Official Proclamation by the City of Reno.
